CONCRETE PROJECT PROFILES

Project: This Decorative Duracrete Concrete project is located in Maple Grove, MN. The entrance to this home was re-done, and they did this with landscaping and concret. The owner decided to purchase DuraCrete concrete from Cemstone. DuraCrete comes with a full 5-yr warranty (see details). This project required two different stamps and two different colors, which also created a two pour process.

Project: This project was designed to get rid of the broken and sunken concrete and replace it with something beautiful and put a new Portico on the front of the home to dress it up. The project is in Woodbury, MN and the Owners wanted to do something nice to dress up their front yard. They chose to incorporate decorative concrete on their project and create a nice relaxed patio and sitting area as well.

Project Details: - Remove & Replace Concrete. - Add a portico that is finished with Hardi Soffit & Fascia. - Pour newly shaped steps, sidewalk & Patio and stamp with a skin stamp and then saw-cut for control joints.

Project: This project was designed to get rid of the broken and sunken concrete and replace it with something beautiful. The project is in Plymouth, MN where the clay soils are heavy, so the customers chose options to help protect their concrete. They chose rebar to help hold everything together and a mix design upgrade, Falkstone, to help prevent rock pops.

Project Details: - Remove & Replace garage slab with 4500 psi mix. - Repair Brick and Block that were broken from soil movement. - Remove Asphalt & replace with colored concrete apron. - Pour newly shaped steps and stamp with a skin stamp and then saw-cut for control joints.

Project: This Decorative Exposed Aggregate is located in Edina, MN. This project involved designing a sidewalk that had some shape instead of the straight one that was currently in place. There was also an additional set of steps on the side of the home.

Project: Lino Lakes Decorative Concrete Entry, Steps, stoop, and stamped

DRIVEWAY Project: This driveway located in Blaine, MN. The goal was to improve the curb appeal with a nice concrete driveway and replace the decaying asphalt. The entrance to the home was also done in concrete.

Project Details: - Remove Asphalt - Haul in compactable soils to build up additional areas. - Concrete Driveway, broom finish with saw cuts.

Project: This Decorative basement floor is located in Pine City, MN. The owners wanted to take advantage of the durability and design characteristics of colored concrete. The entire floor was poured with the integral color, River Red, and then sealed up with a water based sealer. This process allowed the owner to save money over other hard surface finishing options.

Project: This driveway located in Maple Grove, MN. The entrance to this home was renovated. The portico roof was attached the stone was installed, and the decorative concrete was added to tie everything together. This concrete is colored concrete. The center is Broomed and the edge border and sitting area is antiqued and stamped.

Project Details: - Colored concrete stoop walk – Broomed Finish - Borders & Sitting area are stamped and antiqued.

How else do you do it?  In the winter in Minnesota we have to be creative with the ways we finish our concrete.  This particular job was in Eden Prairie.  Some people leave the water in their "lined" concrete pools and we are able to finish from the inside.
