Kelly Hemp Owner / President
Kelly has spent the past 25+ years in the construction industry and can’t imagine doing anything else. He has been diligent and intentional about learning and doing most trades within the construction industry to become the well-rounded, talented general contractor that he is today. Whether it’s block work, finishing flatwork, framing, finish trim carpentry, custom home builder, remodels, additions, residential and commercial; he has done it all! In the process of being involved in all these areas of construction, he discovered a highly energy efficient building using Insulated Concrete Forms. He has an extensive and ever-growing concrete background, and has specialized in ICF construction since 1998. His commercial construction background makes him well suited for the complexities of both commercial and residential construction. Kelly enjoys teaching and educating others, including builders and industry professionals, about ICF’s and energy efficient building methods, and has taught in formats at the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities, Connex, WI, and other venues.
Kelly grew up in Andover and graduated from Anoka High School. Kelly graduated from Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN. He majored in Communication Studies (B.A.) and has a minor in Theology. His degree serves him well in his chosen profession. Kelly is a conscientious, dedicated and a consummate professional. You’ll find him to be cautious, conventional, diplomatic and sincere. Kelly is a precise and disciplined person with high standards and expectations of himself and others. He thrives on analyzing problems and situations and coming up with solutions. He has a creative mind which can be used to bring forward thinking and originality to processes and projects. Kelly's logical, analytical approach combined with his intuitive gifts allows him to maintain his focus on tasks and ideas. You will find Kelly to be practical, systematic, thorough and hard working.
In his free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife, Carrie, and their two children. He also enjoys being part of their church marriage and parenting ministry, deer hunting, elk hunting in Colorado, fishing, four-wheeling, working on his own home projects, and spending time at their cabin in Hayward, WI. Sitting still is not very high on his list of “to-do’s!”
Carrie Hemp Vice President of Operations Carrie has more than 24 years of operations/leadership, marketing/advertising, and sales experience. Her leadership and communication skills have enabled her to earn the trust and respect of others and consistently exceed expectations. Carrie�s energy, motivation, and concern for others serve her well in leadership, project management, and building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
You will find Carrie to be sociable and friendly with a warm-hearted demeanor. Carrie grew up in northern Wisconsin and graduated from Bethel University with a Business Major. Carrie is married and loves being a mom and spending time with her family.
Carrie enjoys family, marriage, and parent/child retreats, serving as mentor through the Kinship organization, spending time in local schools teaching kids about business and the community through Junior Achievement, working on the Women, Parenting, and Marriage Ministry Teams at church, and spending time at their cabin in Hayward, WI.
Joe Schreder Project Manager

Joe has been dedicated to the construction industry since 1984 and enjoys bringing customer dreams to reality. Clients appreciate his industry knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and his thorough communication and organizational skills.
In his free time, Joe serves his wife, Julie, and four children. He enjoys coaching, woodworking and spending time in the shop with his children, and family camping trips.
Jim Schoch Office Manager / CFO Jim has over 32 years of industry experience. He has a special interest in accounting and reporting critical sales data. Jim dedicated almost two decades working for a high production home builder in the Twin Cities. He also served as a Chief Financial Officer for over 10 years.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Management Accountant by the American Association for Accountants. When Jim is not at the office, he enjoys spending time on the water, on a golf course, or on a snowmobile.
Tony Woolhouse Lead Estimator/Field Operations/Scheduler Tony has over 30 years of experience and is well-versed and has extensive knowledge in all areas of the concrete industry, both traditional and modern trends, including masonry, block, ICF, decorative/stamped, Project Foreman/Manager, and estimating. Tony is a true professional and has earned a reputation of providing the highest level of quality work and field operations.
When Tony is not at work, he spends time fishing and is a self proclaimed "sports fan."
Tony Sorenson Flat Work Foreman (Concrete & Decorative Specialities)
Tony has over 12 years of industry experience, including exterior, interior, commercial, and residential experience. He is an expert in stamped and decorative concrete and acid staining, and has quite a bit of experience with decorative overlay’s. He has over two years training in Advanced Decorative Concrete.
When he is not on the job, Tony is either fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling , or working on cars.
Chuck Miller Lead Mason: Foundations & Footings / Block Layer / Finisher / ICF
Chuck has over 16 years of industry experience; residential and commercial. He is an experienced foundations, footings, flatwork specialist. When Chuck is not on the job site, he enjoys watching his kids play sports.

Mike Hemp Lead Carpenter/Project Foreman: Steel Studs, Drywall, ICF, Flatwork
Mike has over 18 years in the industry. He has experience in a number of facets within construction, including finish carpentry, remodeling, drywall, taping, roofing, framing, concrete, landscaping, windows, foundations, ICF, cabinetry, and more. He has worn many different hats, and has experience supervising others, enforcing safety and encouraging better time management practices. He specializes in remodeling and takes pride in his finish carpentry. He is also a professional who prides himself on personal integrity, professionalism, learning new techniques and knowledge.
When Mike is not on the job site, he is fishing, hunting, or drooling on older cars.
Brad Martin Lead Carpenter & Profect Foreman: Carpentry & Concrete Specialist
Brad has over 24 years industry experience. He is an experienced in framing, drywall, sheetrock taping, roofing, siding, trim, block foundations, concrete, tile setting, decks, and expert in steel stud framing. Brad has a special interest in being knowledgeable and skilled in many different areas of the business.
He is a proud father of five who admits that his kids take up most of his free time! When Brad is not of the job site, he enjoys hunting, camping, and entertaining his kids.
